Jarret Stoll and Erin Andrews arrive at the ESPY Awards last year.
Los Angeles Kings forward Jarret Stoll — the boyfriend of broadcaster and “Dancing with the Stars” co-host Erin Andrews — was arrested at a Las Vegas hotel on Friday for suspected cocaine possession.
Stoll, 32, was busted at the Wet Republic pool party at the MGM Grand, not long after his offseason had begun. Las Vegas police confirmed the arrest.
A CBS Las Vegas affiliate first reported that the hockey star was booked into Clark County Detention Center with bail set at $ 5,000.
ESPN reported Stoll was released from custody Friday night.
The Kings released a statement Friday night: “We are aware of police reports out of Clark County, Nevada regarding Jarret Stoll. Our organization is concerned and has begun conducting a thorough internal investigation. While we continue to actively gather facts, we are withholding further comment at this time.”
The first round of the NHL playoffs is underway, but the Kings — who beat the Rangers last season to win the Stanley Cup — did not advance past the regular season.
Kings center Jarret Stoll was arrested Friday for suspected cocaine possession at the MGM Grand Hotel’s Wet Republic pool complex.
Stoll, who helped the Kings to Stanley Cup titles in 2012 and 2014, had six goals and 11 assists during 73 games with Los Angeles this season.
Bill Daly, the NHL deputy commissioner, gave a statement to the Los Angeles Times.
“We are aware of the reports tonight, and we obviously will follow up to understand the nature of the allegations that are being made,” Daly told the L.A. newspaper. “We are not in a position at this time to comment further until we have more information.”
Stoll, who had previously been engaged to actress and model Rachel Hunter, is an unrestricted free agent.
