It’s the moment that Destiny fans have been waiting for since the beginning of the year. Bungie released a new Prologue Trailer for Destiny’s second expansion, House of Wolves, and announced that the DLC will be released on May 19th.
The trailer is a prerendered cutscene with narration from the Awoken Queen of the Reef (played by Kirsten Potter). She explains that the Awoken were betrayed by the Fallen after showing them mercy. All she wants is vengeance, and she’s willing to offer “the riches of the realm” to Guardians who are up to the task.
Destiny fans have been waiting for some time for this expansion to arrive. The first, Crota’s End, arrived just three months after the release of the game. But there were quite a few problems post-launch. Bungie, and Destiny fans, will be hoping that the delay has given them enough time to iron out any issues.
