Andrew Garfield’s costume on the Amazing Spider Man is way more cooler than the first one.

Yes, because Spider-Man should be covered in raised metal rings all over his body like some kind of spring as opposed to looking like Spider-Man.

Agreed. TASM2 costume was a lot more comic book like.

During an Avengers: Age of Ultron press event Marvel President Kevin Feige fielded questions about the Spider-Man that will be introduced into the Marvel cinematic universe.
When the costume was brought up, Feige said he favored the Raimi costume over the iterations used in Webb’s films. Doesn’t really matter though as Marvel already knows which look they are going with. “We’ve already designed the costume, which is different than any of the ones that have come before,” Feige revealed to Crave Online. “And yet ours is classic Spidey, as I think you’ll see.”
Since audiences have already seen an origin story with Raimi and Webb’s Spider-Man films it is a great relief to know that Marvel won’t go down that same path. “It will not be an origin story,“ Feige stated. “But, with great power comes great responsibility. It is inherent to who his character is. But we want to reveal it in different ways and spend much more time focusing on this young high school kid in the MCU dealing with his powers.”
Feige added with a chuckle, “There is a young kid [already] running around New York City in a homemade version of the Spider-Man costume in the MCU, you just don’t know it yet.“
Marvel and Sony’s new solo Spider-Man film will arrive July 28, 2017.
