The Dodgers are taking the top spot for another year… at least when it comes to Major League Baseball’s finances.

The Dodgers will have the top payroll across the entire league in 2015, blowing away the competition (including the New York Yankees) by at least $ 60 million, at $ 272 million.

Clayton Kershaw ($ 31 million)

Zack Greinke ($ 27 million)

Adrian Gonzalez ($ 21 million)

Carl Crawford ($ 21 million)

Andre Ethier ($ 18 million)

Top rookie Joc Pederson will only make $ 510,000 in 2015. Maybe buy him a drink if you see him around town?

Despite national ratings trending downward, baseball looks to be in great shape, at least financially.

Besides this payroll news, the average baseball player will make $ 4.25 million in 2015 with some sweet perks like five-star hotels, chartered Boeing 767s and plenty of cash for your daily meal.

Other NL West teams weren’t exactly “poor,” either.

The San Francisco Giants came in fifth place ($ 172 million), the Colorado Rockies took 20th ($ 102 million), the San Diego Padres were 22nd ($ 100 million) and the Arizona Diamondbacks rounded out division teams in 24th spot ($ 91 million).

The team with the lowest payroll in the entirety of MLB? The Miami Marlins at $ 68 million.

At least Miami has a gorgeous, brand new stadium (and city, for that matter) to call home, right?
